ABOUT US

The Dewson School Community Refugees Welcome is a community group applying to sponsor a refugee family. We were formed by parents and kids at the school. We are mobilizing the community to put together an application, raise $30,000 to financially support a family, and provide settlement assistance once they arrive.

 

Dewson School Community Refugees Welcome also provides support to other schools through its sister organization Schools Welcome Refugees. There are tools and resources available on the Schools Welcome Refugees website to inspire, encourage, and assist other school communities to join the challenge.
